Ok so I've had my three peppered cories for about two months now two have grown to a reasonable size but the third one doesnt seem to have grown at all and seems tiny compared to the other two! I've never had this happen before should I be concerned! The other two are about an inch long and he doesnt seem to be much over 1.5cm which was around the size I bought it at! They all get plenty of daphnia and bloodworms! It seems to be healthy despite its small size!

Hi Natsuko :)

Could you have two females and a male? Once the young corys start growing and maturing, the males will usually be shorter and thinner than the females.

It's also possible that you have a runt. There always seems to be a few in every batch of fry that just don't get as big as the others or grow much more slowly. It sounds like it is getting plenty of nutritious food.

Why not give him another month and see what happens. :D

Yeah I was a bit concerned as he looked funny compared to the other two! Yeah he gets plenty of live foods in his diet! I'll give him another month to see how he gets on if he remains that small I might just nick name him titch as they dont have names yet!

Then again if he stays small it just makes him that extra special I suppose! The other two dont seem to mix with him much at present but that might change soon!
