Does anyone have experience with Compressiceps?

I don't know maybey no one is answering, because you didn't specify Dimidiochromis comp or Altolamprologus comp.

I have never had either, but i do have Altolamprologus calvus which are almost identical to A.comp. What do you want to know?

Hey F1, I too have owned Calvus, but not Compressiceps. It's best just to ask for the info and see what you get, IMO.

I'm not sure exactly what species of compressiceps I have been seeing in the stores. The lower of the two images from the link below looks like the ones I have been seeing.

Yup, that one is Dimidiochromis Compressiceps, also known as the 'Malawi Eye-biter". They are a large preditor, and need a very large tank with fish that are large enough not to be eaten - there prey is the mbuna and peacocks that are so popular.
