I decided to wait on ripping apart that Monstera plant, in another tank, until I can put some of the pieces I end up cutting up, into this 30 gallon... the lights are both installed now, I was waiting to fill it, until I got the lights installed... this tank is using 4 ( 2 per timer ) 18 inch plant LED lights, that I screwed into the wood over the tank, that holds the 45 gallon above this tank... not wanting to dip my drill into the water, if I had filled this tank, before installing the lights... I'll be doing water changes on the rest of the tanks later today, and I'll be filling this one about 3/4 full, so I can transfer the sponge filter... the substrate, heater, and a resin cave should show up next week... I'm going to drill a few holes into the top, back of the resin cave, to insert the stems from some of the Monstera vine into... it's plenty deep... the wild caught Aequidens metae, Who had been forced to live in a 10 gallon, when he didn't get along with the other Cichlids, will be moving into this tank... still not a huge tank for it, but much better than it's current home of the 10 gallon only visible in the work area, he is much too pretty to not be seen, and that 10 gallon will become a shrimp tank, for the orange variety... once the Cichlid is moved...

I'm installing a "floating" night stand, as one got added into that corner, for my C-pap, since the tank was empty... putting the floating night stand, will allow full view of the tank from this side again... this tank will be viewed from both long sides, like the 45 gallon above it..

I'll probably put a smaller Anubias on the opposite side of the tank, something like a nana... the only filtration going in it right now, will be a twice tank size rated sponge filter... I could add a smaller hob on one of the short sides, but I would like this tank to be a breeding tank some day, so thinking the big sponge filter will be enough...

some pictures later as the cosmetics start coming together...

well, the prepper I am... turns out I have a new 300 watt heater in the box, on a shelf, and a bigger piece of spider wood, that was too big for my nano tank, just right for this 30 gallon... so the tank is half full, has a new heater in it, the 60 gallon rated sponge filter, is running and a piece of spider wood... I'm running out of time, Mrs. had a tv table she bought unassembled, for up in her sewing room... with the help of the directions, and a little wit, and a couple hours later, it's in her sewing room, with the tv on it... the directions alone, would not have accomplished this... after I found the heater, I hoped to dive into that Monstera... but, that's going to have to wait until next week sometime...

Not the same as you but I tend to keep things that are still fine for possible future use. Like I said, not the same, but, if I ever get off my butt, I'm tearing down and replacing a tank. Heater, air pumps and a light strip will carry over from the old tank. Why buy what you already have? ;)

LOL! Both my entertainment center and coffee table are assemble yourself units. The directions for the coffee table were not too bad but the entertainment center might as well not have come with instructions. Personally I think the wrong instructions came with the entertainment center as it made zero sense. ;) I literally printed out a picture of the thing already assembled from the seller's site and just made the thing look like the picture. ;) LOL! Apparently it worked as nothing has fallen through the top. ;)
