Sorry to see you selling all your tanks, I've followed a few threads on this forum and it seems you have had a few tanks to get to where you are. Are you going to keep one tank? It would be good if you changed your mind and didn't sell any of your stuff, I think you'll regret it and spend tons next year. It is a hobby that probably can take over the house, I'm nit trying to sound all smarty pants just saying thet it would be a shame to sell all your stuff after working so hard to get it, SORRY ( should I post this?) . . . .

aww thankyou for trying to talk me out of it.. but half of the fun is new tanks and starting over.. ie had a wonderful time getting to where i am with both the tanks im selling.. yes its been hard work, but i wouldnt be worried about the prospect of starting over... just sometimes get to the point where i need a break
i`ll be keeping my oscar .. hes more part of the family than the hobby
ive had a lot of tanks, and ive enjoyed every single one to date.. and i will carry on to do so, im sure, i wont be overly disspointed if they dont sell

thankyou so much for your support its much appreciated xxxx

He looks well looked after and happy :good: Just made a topic about stuff like this.

And how much did all the E/q cost for the tank?

i bet the fish cost more then the tank itself!

on this occasion definatly not
i went into a local fish shop not long after moving back to wales in march.. wasnt looking for anything and saw him in a floor tank looking very very sad it was about 3ft and he was in with a few huge plecs and some other large fish..i just had to have him ( would have paid anything for him
wub.gif
hes beaten up and has scars from fighting, but to me hes gorgeous)
anyway i paid £10 for him.. then 2 days later paid £300 for a rio 300 etc etc for him and brought him home

madness to some i spose

Nope. not at all. I've seen some betta's witch look like they've been at war.. two simblings. i felt so upset for them. For medical reasons the guy at the LFS had to stick them in 5 gallon tanks! TOGETHER! but i they could barely move.

Good thing is there still alive!

the guy at the LFS reckons the flower horns got them
