Its used at least once a week as per the guidelines, and its fine. Its only the membrane that you need to keep moist, which in the one of the top compartments. What you see it the carbon.

All the elements were replaced 4 weeks ago, and its currently producing RO water at 0ppm, you can't get purer than that.

nope you cant, Just interesting how its drained out? I havent used mine for about 2 weeks (I flushed it last week tho) and Mine as never emptied?
