Compatible? small community

I am considering adding a male betta to a ten gallon community tank, i've heard they are compatible with some species what about a ten gallon tank with two African Dwarf Frogs, and Two white cloud mountain minnows?

Depends on the individual betta.

Some websites say white clouds and bettas get along, but my friend's females killed them.

That should be fine, but with bettas you always need a back up plan because you really never know. B)

I agree, it should work. I would, however, add one or two more white clouds since they like to be kept in groups. The 10g should be able to handle all of them

i have one in a 10G with a couple molly fry, cories and a few otos and he gets along fine with them all. in fact, he seem to think he's one of the mollies.

Ye he'll be fine there I should think...but though I know he'll get along with the ADFs I don't know all that much about white cloud mountain minnows!

Just make sure none of the fish fits in his mouth.

CC, the mountain minnows already killed two of themselves

Sorrel this doesn't mean anything I'm still a cichlid guy, consider it an experiment to see if they actually do anything

Another question, What should i look for to get a quality fish from what i hear around this board , alot of bettas are substantially nicer than others?
