Compatible Fish

I have 4 Silver Dollars, 2 Kissing Fish, a SnakeSkin Gourami, Green Severum, Parrot Cichlid, and a DoJo. I have room for one more fish. I was wondering what type of different cichlid woudl go with these fish. I dont want to get one to agressive but I would like him to be decent in size. I would also like to find one with nice color to him. Like maybe blue and red. All of the fish now seem to do ok together and rarly fight. Infact my kissing fish are more agressive than my Severum. Another question is would my Severum attack a smaller cichlid if I put him in the tank. The fish I am looking into is Convicts and maybe a Texas Cichlid.

How big is the tank?

Sometimes severums like to establish territory and fight with other cichlids.. so it's possible.

75 Gallons. All of the fish now have plenty of room to swim. I am going to upgrade to a tank alittle bigger later also. I have thought about adding some Rams in. I read where they can go with pretty much anything. Somthing else, have you ever kept a fiddler crab?? They have them petsmart for $3 but I am worried that they may bother my fish. Also, if I put in ghost shrimp do you think my Severum would eat them?

how big are the fish right now?

I wouldn't add any other larger fish until you get a larger tank

The Severum is around 6 inches long. I havent even had him a year yet. My Parrot is around 5 inches. My Silver Dollars are OLD. They are about the roundness of a coffe cup, one is alittle bigger. The two kissers are very small. I have had them for 3 years and they are still only 4 inches. The Snake Skin is the bigest fish in the tank at 7 inches. I am going to post a picture I just took. It didnt turn out all that well LOL. I need to get better at taking them. The tanks water isnt as cloudy as it looks either. I would say this is a picture of about 35-40% of the tank size.

Yea I'd wait until you have the tank.. I bought a bunch of fish thinking I'd have a bigger tank.. I never got one and most of my fish were stunted and died..

If it were me again.. I would wait until I have the tank..
