Compatability

I have a bulldog plec about 2" long and an imperial plec about 2.5" long, who seem to be getting on alright in my 30G. I also have 3 zebra loaches, about 2" long, in another tank. I'm considering putting them all in my new 45G. Are they compatible? The loaches are certainly a heckuva lot livelier than the plecs - will they bug/nip them (or my other fish)? I'm basically thinking about putting all the fish in my sig in the new tank and then re-doing the 30G. Any advice on compatability would be much appreciated.

by imperial plec - do you mean a zebra plec? (L046)

If so they are do a lot better in groups.

As long as everyone gets food they should be fine - be sure to feed the plecs specifically or the loaches will pig out and the plecs will starve
