 My 46 gallon tank is almost finished cycling and I'm still figuring out what fish I'm going to get. I want Gourmais and Clown Loaches, but I need something else. What other fish are good companions for Gouramis? I would enjoy some unique kind of fish in my aquarium, but I don't know what? :/

 Here's s few fish in which I'm not sure if they could go with Gouramis:
-Angelfish
-Danios
-Rasborars
-Rams
-Hatchetfish
-Tetras

I want to avoid getting fish that may fight with each other! Thanks for any information! :D

I would say that the Rams and Angelfish would be good, but dont overcrowd the tank those are all territorial fish except for the clown loach and keep an eye on the gouramis/angelfish. There have been stories of gouramis killing angelfish and angelfish killing gouramis. I have kept gouramis and angels together with no problem.

What kind of Gourami are you getting? That probably makes a big difference.

Rasboras would go well regardless, but some of the others might not get along with the more aggressive Gourami, like the Blue or Paradise.

;) If I do decide to get an Anelefish I'm only getting one or two. I want to have Dwarf Gouramis and Pearl Gourmais. I may not get Angelfish and just get smaller fish, but if decide to get one I wnat to be certain that no fish would fight.
