Hi, i have two questions so i will treat them seperatly in this one reading your letters it seems the majority dont like the compact h filters and have taken them out as they are stuck in how do you remove them what is the method i would like to remove mine.

Depends how long the filter has been in the tank. I think the silicone softens up a bit over time, so it might be easier to remove it from a mature tank than it would be from a brand new one.
However that said, it took me roughtly 60 seconds to remove mine with a stanly knive blade (take extreme care not to injure yourself!) and I didn't even empty my tank ! Easy Peasy

I haven't had any problems with my juwel filters but i have read post where people removed them using the stanley knife with a snap off blade.
