Common Synodontis

I have a catfish which I was mis sold, was told it was a pim pictus, it's not it's a common synodontis. Does anyone know how big they get?

Couldn't find common syno no planetcatfish but the most common one is a mochokidae (Synodontis nigrita) these grow to 6.7 inches

other name is false upside down catfish if that's any help. We found it on there the other day, just been told they're sizes are a bit un reliable so I was wondering if anyone had any experience or other sites?

Typed it in google and got the same syno this one says 8 inches max
