Hi

Im new to this forum so sorry if i do anything wrong on here!

We are renovating our house and unfortunately need to empty our fish tank as it will not be able to be moved whilst the works are going ahead. We have given all our small fish to a friend but their tank is not big enough for our common plec. He (have no idea if he or she) is approx 9 inches and we have had him for approx 3 years. He has lived with all sorts of fish big and small, and has been fine, he currently lives with several other bottom feeders such as Kuhli Loach, Polka Dot Botia, Golden loach etc with no problem at all.

We want a good home for him as we have had him since day one, and i cant bear to take him to a pet shop.

We also have definatley one and possibly 2 Kuhli loaches if you are interested. I am not sure if it is one or two as they bury themselves and we wont know till we empty the tank how many there are!

We are based in Horsham, West Sussex so can collect from here.

If anyone has any other ideas of how we can find him a good home please let me know.

Thanks

Claire

no indeed you are a dedicated fish owner, well done, i help run a small group across the uk helping with fish rehoming and have been a member on here for years and years, If you want me to get him rehomed its as good as done, all home vetted by the way, and def no money changing hands. di

Hi

Yes please that would be great.

What do you need me to do? I want as little stress for him as possible really.

We dont need him to go by a deadline, so whenever is convenient for the new owner.

Thanks

Claire

I think we can forgo the usual sales form request as this appears to be a done deal. I've also bypassed the usual 10 post requirement for PM access on Boomathon's account to allow this rehoming deal to progress as smoothly as possible.

 Whatnots, that's awesome, thanks for the laugh! :good: I know large plecs are hard to find a proper home for, & realize what you're doing for these fish.

i have a large tank that it can be home for life. i already have a 16" pleco but looks small in the tank.
