Common Pleco Sizing Question

I have 2 common plecos in a 55 gallon tank. The petstore told me to get 2 because my tank is big. I know they can get quite large so i was wondering if I should get rid of one of them. They are about 5-6 inches now. The other fish I have are 1 zebra loach, 2 black skirt tetra, 1 fancy guppy, 1 platy, 3 rasboras. I want to get more fish and don't want to overcrowd it.

they will grow to over 2 foot in lenght

commons do grow big...

If they are commons expect 18"... if they are sail fins expect 2ft a peice.

I've get rid of them both if it was me
