Common Pleco Anyone

I wanted a pair of brislenose Pleco and got one common pleco and one bristlenose pleco. There both in a 30 gallon tank, so the common pleco can't stay. Got it from a pet shop 50 miles away because I couldn't get them locally. You live and learn. Won't go back to that pet shop

I'm sure if you talk to a local shop - they will take him in for you...

Such a shame. You knew what you wanted, I can understand your frustration. Very few people can keep happy, healthy common plecs IMO. I have been offered one that needed rehoming and I wasn't confident my 5ft tank was big enough for one of those beutiful monsters!!
