I adopted a tank from my sister and her partner several months ago and I very quickly came to realise that Nigel (named after one of Kevin Wilson's songs!!!) would outgrow his tiny home. I am happy to hand him over for free but a small donation to a charity (e.g. RSPCA or PDSA) wouldn't go amiss.

I am unable to confirm if Nigel is actually a Nigel or a Nigella! He has no rips or tears that I can see. I did have an outbreak of ich about 4 months ago so I would always advise quarantine (He never actually showed any signs or symptoms of the illness and the whole tank was treated with no losses).

Forgot to say he's about 7inches!

I am not au fait with posting fish so I would ask for assistance and guidance from others to help ensure that I am doing it right, I would also need to confirm costs.

I can't yet send PMs so feel free to ask me anything here! Thanks for looking!

yeah I will have him please, if you give me your number and I will give you a call tonight after 6pm if thats ok? I will come and pick up if you let me know where you live as i live in milton (portsmouth)

please remember this plec will need a minimum 5ft tank
OP i know my local maidenhead rehomes these they keep the large ones in their sump tanks - so if you have one locally or another big fish store you could ask them if you dont find a suitable home for him/her

Thanks guys - Ive been asking around but not tried at Maidenhead Aquatics.

oddjob123 - I will send you an email.

Thanks!

The Havant branch may well take it, I've seen large plecs there before and they have quite a few large sumps.

its ok guys thanks, but he will have a nice big tank to live in soon :)
