don't know if anyone read this months PFK but somebody was asking about what looks like very fine strands coming out of their leather mush which can be 6 inches long with branches coming off. any way i have exactly the same which i thought was the coral its self sending these out but it appears i may have a type of coeloplana which is almost jelly fish in specious and lives within the coral sending out these strands to catch minute plankton pretty cool eh

does anybody else have these or anymore info cheers

our LFS has hundreds of them in one of the display tanks... we spent months wondering wahat they were then thanks to PFK we know

A (now fired) employee at my local pet store wanted to keep Box Jellyfish in his tank, since they allegedly glowed under actinic lighting.

Can't say I would do it... :shout:
