Comet Goldfish

I had to pick up two comet goldfish off my mate as he couldnt maintain the water changes and stuff,i took his 70 litre tank his u3 filter and two arc pod lights,i moved the fish and tank to my house and set it up,they are quite big like 3 1/2 inch long,any way i now have four tanks running and want to put the goldfish in my rio 180 but at moment has few tropical fish in which ill rehome or put with my clowns in a rio 300,the 180 is heavily planted with onion plants and mother plants etc,if i left the heater running at like 21 c would the plants live,and would the goldfish be fine,the tank they are in now is like 18 c as its a small room,

i would favour the fish over the plants and ditch the heater... no idea if plants need set temps - not much of a green-fingered kinda guy!
