Comb and crown

With both fish, the rays of the fins extend past the end of the fin (usually the tail). In combtails, the extensions are very minimal, but with crowntails, very obvious - the fins look "frayed" almost. Does that make sense? I'm sure we could give you some photos. :)

Here is a pic of my Combtail, Seto (sorry bout the glare on the first one, but you should be able to get the idea :p ). Notice the short little rays on the fins.

And this is my Crowntail, Shinwa. You can see that his rays are much more pronounced.
