Columbian Tetra

hi all,
 
i am currently looking for some mid dweller fish and am slightly drawn to columbian tetra,can i ask if anyone has kept them and can advise if they can be kept with cory cats or not ?

I've kept them. They grow quite big and will eat your shrimp if you have any. I've also seen them peck at apple snails too.

Yes they can just be sure the corys are bigger than the tetras as they can be nippy.

looks like its a no go with the columbian tetras then.
 
i am always drawn to bottom feeders,bottom of my tank looks great with lots happening but look up slightly and it looks like a closing down sale!!

Iv got 6 columbian redfin tetras. Had them for about 2 years. Also got lots of corys and iv never seen the tetras go for the corys. They get on really well. Its a good combination in my experience.
