Columbian Red Fin Tetra's

Just bought some of these fish and they're awesome! Really like them, their colouration is brilliant! I got 5 which I think is a nice number for my tank (3ft) although I wouldn't mind upping to 8, but I am thinking of their adult size... They're shoaling quite well at the minute.

They're great, I've got 11 in my 4ft tank and they're great with my Ellioti! They're like mini-piranha. I would up them to 8 if I were you.

Yes I agree - they are an excellent looking fish. I have 32 of them in my 70 gallon tank dedicated just to them (with one female albino BN) & they are so happy. What I like about them is they get to a nice size (just under 3inches), they're deep bodied, are peaceful in a big group, they spread out & fill the tank which I like & only really shoal for a few seconds if you walk up to the tank then they come to see you thinking it's food time! superb to watch when you feed them! Mine are virtually full size now - you should see their teeth!
