betta and are they hard to find?

Yup, there are purple bettas, though not many. Most aren't solid purple, but more a base red/blue with a purple tinge. Lovely bettas if i say so myself. They are a bit hard to find depending on what stores you shop at.

After doing some reading on the this subject, I have found that there are several breeders throughout the world that are working hard to cement a true purple line (the deep purple colorl throughout the body and the fins). As far as I have seen there are very few true purple bettas on the market, but there could be more in the near future.

there are purple bettas but iv never seen like a solid purple before. they userally contain black red or blue as well. purple seems to be a popular color up this way, walmart has them alot
