color change question

My little commen goldfish Cleo is finally changing colors! I've had the other change colors, but do not remeber how long it took.

Is there a usuall number of weeks or what ever that it takes to change colors? She is becoming white, and I cant wait till she is fully white, because i have always wanted a white goldfish, but the lfs always overprices them, like they do everything else.

well, my male goldfish, who is actually my brothers, weve had him one year last month, and he has grown to 6 inches!, was originally grey. Then he turned an ugly yellow with black, and then full orange, and now orange with white on his fins, like a butterfly pattern on the betta fish. He does have an odd spot that protrudes and is brown, but he may have had that forever and never noticed it because it was small when he was.
