Colombian Tetras Shy?

My colombian tetras only come out in the dark...
when lights on they shy away and hide,as do my black neons,
my red eye tetras are ok though

any ideas?

My wild caught Corydoras hastatus only come out when there is nobody in the room. I sometimes catch them diving for cover when I enter the room. Some fish are more nervous than others but I have no idea why. My cories have been in my tanks for over 6 months and are still very nervous. Maybe after they breed, the fry will get used to people. Who really knows.
