Coldwater Pleco?

Ive heard people saying that the common pleco can actually live in cold water....
Is this true?

I don't know much about plecos - everyday learning something new

common plecos can take a temp range of 19-26C (66-79F)
whether or not they should be housed with coldwater fish
is a matter for you to decide.
