I know many people have asked this question, but is there some sort of algae eating fish that can handle slightly cold temperatures? One of my relatives has a Common Goldfish (possibly Comet) pond, and has a large problem with algae in the Winter. He keeps the fish in a bucket in a greenhouse, which covers ALL of the sides of the tank! I know Goldfish do tend to eat some algae, but would it be possible to get a fish that eats algae? (A problem with getting snails would be trying to find them in the pond, if he decided to move them over as well.)

Ooooooh, they're pretty..... Lol, but I might just go with tadpoles, since I've seen a lot of them for sale. Maybe I'll go with Bullfrog tadpoles.

No. Not Bullfrog tadpoles. No. When they turn into frogs, they will eat fish. Get a native frog tadpole. And bull frog tads produce tons of waste.

I would suggest Green Frog tadpoles if you can get them.
