Which cold cathode is better one is UV and the other is not. And how long do they last.

I've just added the UV's to my tank, but I'm swaping for blue set to 6v. Got the UV's on12v at the moment but not happy with them

i got some blues from ebuyer and made my own and my catfish love it i have them on 4.5 volts

Think about a UV filter - it works by killing living organisims with UV light - not what i would want over my whole tank.
