Coffee Table Fish Tank

I do like a bargain.......and I do like an unusual tank.......however I really didn't specifically want a Coffee Table tank.

However......I am going to look at one tonight......the guy wants very little money for it...just wants rid of it.

I am thinking of getting it and putting it on ebay......what's the chances I will like it too much to get rid of it..

I do hate them with relish but if they are used as a proper tank, rather than a coffee table stuck in
the middle of rooms, they are not so bad.

it is the fact that as a table the constant putting down of things, like coffeee cups etc
will stress the fish (I don't care how much the makers say they have baffles).
if you want a coffee table buy a coffee table not a coffee table fish tank!

i am making a small fishtank/coffee table for my A level design and technology, but it will be for show purposes ONLY!!
its not very big atall, only a 5gal, ill just have to make sure the examiner doesnt realise there aren't any fish init

....I know these things are probably best for cold water fish (well, best for throwing out some would say).....

I doubt very much that a small animated gif does that
perhaps you have a trojan or other such infection.

They have a coffee table tank in a club in town .. its looks nice but i dont think they look after the fish well ... seems a bit crule because of the bass in the music an people slammin drinks down on it .. arnt they a grand or somethin ?

Could you please post some pictures? I was actually looking into one of these when I get my own house. Do you think if it is just me and I am careful about slamming stuff down on top, do you think it would work? I wouldn't put it in the center of the room either, I would put it between two couches. Please let me know!
