Co2 Using A Extinguisher

just beening reading a thread and hes using a extinguisher for co2 is this possible and how can it been done i want to use it

Yes it can be done. A gas bottle is a gas bottle is a gas bottle. The only thing that changes between the various gas bottles is the nature of the connection that you make between the regulator and the bottle. Extinguisher adapters exist and are sold on places like E-Bay. Adapters also exist for paint gun bottles if you prefer them. My real question would be why you would want to use an extinguisher instead of a regular gas bottle. A 10 pound extinguisher is a large one and will cost about as much as a 10 pound regular bottle. In fact a 20 pound bottle costs about the same as a 10 pound bottle would. A refill of either one will be about the same price. Most of the price of a refill seems to be the charge for purging the bottle so that it can deliver pure product and handling the bulk material at the refill station. When I refill my 10 pound bottle it only costs about a dollar more than a 5 pound bottle would although the total cost is over $10. The only difference that I see between the bottles is that an extinguisher is tapped into by locking the extinguisher valve open, the one you would grasp to put out a fire. A regular bottle has a valve that you turn several turns to open. The adapter kit and the regular bottle regulator each cost about the same amount.
