My current CO2 soleniod is fitten between my regulator and needle valve.

Is this the recommend location, or can the solenoid be fitted after the needle valve.

The reason I ask is because the replacement solenoid comes with hose tails and I am not sure it will have the same screw fitting to fit between the regulator and needlt valve?

Generally needle valves can handle the pressure that the main reg throws at them. It's what they're for, after all.

Some solenoids can't, so I'd put it after the valve if that's the way it's set up. It shouldn't create any issues there.

As Rob said after the needle is the safest location for it really.
