i have a cheap tablet co2 system in my tanks. i was wondering if instead of a tablet filling up the holding space and letting it dissolve into the water, can i use my own exhalation to stock the holding space for positive effects on my plants? it would save money :D

well your exhaled breath consists of:
15-16% oxygen
4-5% carbon dioxide
79% nitrogen
1% other gasses

so i cant see it being effective

yeast + sugar + bicarbonate of soda = CO2 for about a week. Or Flourish Excel. They are the cheapest ways. I just use flourish excel. Its fast cheap and can eradicate algae blooms.
