I just bought a new CO2 Bio Sytem Reactor and hooked it up. It's been a few days now I don't see any bubbles coming out. However, when I shook the canister (lightly, not violently), large bubbles came out then after about 5 min a bunch of atomized bubble shot out. I'm assuming that that's the way it works but it only does that when I shake the canister. Also some of the fluid gets into the tank after I shake the can and I didn't think that was supposed to happen assuming the check valve is working. Does anyone have any experience with this product?

Check valve is working fine. It allows anything to go one way, but allows nothing to go the other way.

I'm not familiar with this system, but I assume its a yeast fermentation rig. How warm do you keep that area? The colder it is, the slower the reactions. Did your system come with a buffer like sodium bicarbonate? Your water may be too hard or soft (I'm not sure which way. Forgot.)

Buying products like these are a pretty good waste of money. It is often done with a 2 liter soda bottle, sugar, water and yeast.

Good luck.

If a DIY reactor takes a specific shaking of the generator to cause a movement of CO2 into the water, there is something wrong with your mixture.
I find that a properly formulated DIY mix means that CO2 is self supplying. That means that, in the real world, I have no need to supply anymore than a real world post of real expectations. If your DIY formula is not self proving, there is something wrong with it.
