Well since my Clowns have managed to kill off most of my favourite corals by hosting them I decided enough was enough and set up a cube tank for them (which was original planned as a seahorse tank, stupid clowns).
Anyway last night we had the fun of trying to catch them. The B&W clown was no hassle at all. Took less than 30 seconds. The Orange clown though has been moved through more than 4 tanks and is wise to what the net is. Over the course of about 2 hours we tried everything to catch him (two people, 4 nets and one very smug clownfish).
Lyn has been trying again today but with no more success So going to have a go with a bottle trap before I resign myself to removing the rockwork.
What makes it worse is that as soon as you move away from the tank he comes straight to the front at the top of the water where he would be easy to catch. Its like he is taunting us
Anyway no real point to this post. Just thought it was funny that 2 grown adults couldn't catch one little clownfish
