Clown Stressed Out From Nem?

i have had this fire clown for a few months now no problems whatsoever. it even hosted my GSP. i decided a couple days ago to buy an LTA from another reefer and about 5 minutes after i put the nem in my clown hosted it. after the clown hosted the anemone his white vertical stripe started fading to a dark grey but i assumed it was just stressed out because it needed a new slime coat for the LTA. but today i noticed he still has the same colour plus he's hiding under the anemone kind of wedging himself between the LTA and the rock. i tried to target feed him but as soon as i put the pipette near him he darts away and wedges himself in a crevice in my LR. so my question is, is my new anemone stressing it out somehow? if it is why is that so? and why does he choose to stay with the anemone if it is stressing him out?

as soon as i clicked off I realised: Long Tentacled aka Heteractis crispa or Sebae. I suspect the clown is just getting used to the Nem, there is no reason why there should be a problem as long as the nem has been identified correctly

hahahah thanks seffie! yea i meant to say Long Tentacled Anemone.

the clown is still a bit skiddish but comes out for food as long as i don't make any sudden movements to scare it. it's like buying a new clown i guess

Yes, it does, doesn't it - but hang on one minute, you haven't got two different kinds of nem in your tank have you?

no it's the same nem, it just split in the previous owner's tank. i wanted to buy 1 but the reefer i got it from was selling off his tank so i bought both of them. they were on the same rock and he couldn't separate them so i ended up with both. when i got home i split the rock instead of trying to get one off and now i'm trying to sell the other one.
