i know veg is good what type of veg and alge flakes as well

Lettuce (a good green one like cos, not iceberg!) scalded in boiling water, apple, courgette, peas (lightly cooked and shelled), spinach (scalded), tomato (an end slice with no seeds), pumpkin, mango (again, a rind piece with no seeds for those two); you could try carrot, lightly cooked, but none of my plecs touch it!

Any algae wafers will do; they also like frozen bloodworm.

Don't forget that clown plces need lignin to be able to digest their food, so you must have at least one piece of bogwood in your tank if you have one
