i have a clown pleco and i ahve drift wood in my tank i know they eat wood but was just wondering how much as ive noticed my wood has started to loose a top layer and was wondering if it is down to the pleco any help ?

I doubt they would be eating it to the point it would be noticeable. It's probably just degrading due to it been in water like wood generally does over time.

ah just wondering because a piece i added about a month or so ago has go just a bit in one corner top layer removed
