Clown Pleco Advice

Does anyone know how to get a 3 inch, VERY shy clown pleco to stop hiding and put its fin up more often? The pleco never comes out of his little cave exept at night. Any help would be apprieciated.

it won't mate not untill its older thats when pleco's become less nochturnal in my experiance

i have 6 of them, and have had most of them for nearly 6 years, and i never see one of them, let alone out in the open.

Thats the thing with plecos. Spend hundreds on rare and good looking fish, only to never see them until you clean the tank! I know it well.
