Well - I rarely see my clown plec but I moved him into my new 180 litre tank 2 months ago and he took up residence under the overhang of a large piece of mopani wood. So all I would see was the swish of a stripey tail every now and then, to let me know he was still alive.

The last couple of days he's been getting brave and venturing a wee bit out in daylight. And he popped right out tonight. WOW!! He has got soooooooo fat, he is like a barrel. At least I hope he's fat and not got some hideous disease - hmm fishkeeper paranoia strikes again!

Lol, cut down on feeding abit, what does it look like when he goes to the toilet if you ever get the chance to see.

I can see his poo lying on the sand underneath him, cos its difficult to vacuum it out from there. Good size, dark colour, plenty of it - looks normal. This feels a bit weird - a verbal dissection of fish poo!! :p

 That good then if his poo is a dark brown, maybe he's piggin out to much.

I so rarely see him, it was such a surprise. I will need to put him an a diet (bit like my good self really  )

I know, I rarely ever see my bumblebee catfish until I switched him and my other fish to my 120 gallon and had to scoop him out. He had quite the belly on him. I NEVER see him out, not even at night when I peek into the tank. :dunno: I wonder how he gets all that food.

I never see my medusa, whiptail or bumblebee eating but they are all alive and llok healthy so they must eat something!???? :S

He's actually been coming out in the open with the lights on now! :hyper: I've never seen so much of him!
