Hey Peeps,

I have an infestation of a snails in my tank, their are so pests.

I am keeping in my tank Apple Snails (not the pests)

I was adviced to invest in some clown loaches as they would munch the pest snails, I am concerned that my apple snails could also be a target for them.

Any Advice?

Many Thanks

Mells

The apple snails would be a target, and clown loachs can grow to a foot long and live for up to 40yrs so are long term investment fish. I would try setting up a small tank separate for the apple snails if you are getting clown loachs, otherwise there are many other methods of removing snails without snail eating fish :) .
