has anyone bred either of these breeds. I've read that the clown loach is dificult or unheard of but it still interests me and I 'd like to know if they have been bred.

Also, has anyone bred black widow tetras or tiger barbs. Does it just happen? Can you aid it? Is it easy etc etc.

IN the barbs and tetras, I have some rather plump ones, is their a tell-tale sign that they are actually holding eggs. WOuld really love to breed these little guys.
Any advice/experience would be really appreciated. :D

i have heard that clown loach will breed if you place hormones in the tank (imo i would not put the hormones in )

how big are your clowns? mine are 7" and are not sexually mature yet!!!!

Most Botia species have never been breed in captivity and if they have the reports are usually vague and unreliable. Most Clown Loaches are now breed in captivity through hormone injection in far east fish farms.
