i have 2 clown loaches i dont know what sex they are. they keep what looks like fighting, is it fighting or breeding. i have heard they dont breed in captivity is this true?
They'll try to work out a pecking order and after which they shouldnt fight much. Optimally, you should get a larger group of them but they do get big.
with only 2 they will fight to sort out whos boss. you would be better getting at least one more and this should help sort it out. I have 3 and they get along fine. If you have the room then ideally 5. They do get large and need a lot of room but do grow slowly
