Clown Loaches acting weird

I just noticed that a few days ago that i'm hearing like somebody is tapping on my aquarium, but no one is near it...I just spotted today that my clown loaches are the ones that are doing it and they're really doing it hard( I could hear the knocking noise across the room)...Is this normal cause i'm scared that they could actually crack the glass and I have to mop 75 gallons of water in my living room.....is there something wrong with them???

Now are they actually banging up against the tank? Or are the just making loud clicking noises? Clown loaches are know for making pretty loud clicking noises, especially when feeding.

My clown loaches make loud clicking noises too. Especially when being fed. They make the noise using the spines hidden behind their eyes. Its so loud i can hear it even 15 feet away. Its normal.

Like I said, it's normal if they are just clicking, but if they are actually running into the side of the tank that's not good

it's a clicking noise, but it looks like they are tapping the glass since everytime i hear it they are always either near the surface or right beside the glass......I know for sure that their barbels are sharp and hard, i've been cut by them once...i just don't wanna end up with a crack aquarium.....

They are probably just making clicking noises, nothing to worry about.

that's what i'm going through right now....it's so loud that i think someone is trying to crack open my tank.......lol....thanks for the mod who moved this post......

From my years of keeping loaches I've learned that loaches enjoy messing with our minds

Yeah, I too thought they were tapping on the glass the first time I heard it, but it's only the loach equivalent of a purr! Your loaches are happy!
