i have 3 i was hopeing they would kill off the snail out break in my tank but they seem more intrested in the other fish food to realy give the snails a second look?

They are still new, so normally will not attack the snails right away. They are nervous fish, so they may go out on their own when you are away, especially when the lights are low. They will not eat all snails, but just keep it under control. Give it time.

cool mind you i wish they would eat all the snails cuz its the little snails that breed like crazy and are realy hard to get rid of cuz the eggs are see throo

Give them a chance - you've only had them a couple of weeks and there's probably an awful lot more snails that you can see

I expect they will eat your snails, going by experiance. Especially if you have so many snails it is hard to notice them disappearing at first. I had just one clown loach that cured my tank of snail city!!

We used zebra loach to get rid of snails, They were very shy at 1st but after a week or so the snails had gone

cool one day i may have no evil snails i calll them evil cuz they breed as fast as rabbits and are just as hard to get rid of and the eggs sneak in to the tank on plants oh and most are red .... oh well evan if they dont eat the snail they still look intresting and it may be cuz they are still small
