Clown Loach

I have a clown loach who lives in my community with many other fish but he had no mates of his own kind.

He seems perfectly happy (even playing with my red tailed black shark who everyone else avoids!) but i was wondering if i should get him perhaps 3 clown loaches for him, i have the space for them so what are your thoughts?

Yeah taht would be a good idea! How big a tank do you have?

Clown Loaches, like most loaches, are sociable fish best kept in groups. The question above is the key though. Clown Loaches grow quite quickly and at 250mm/10" require substantial accomodation.

A group of five clowns should be the absolute minimum.
