So I have now moved my 3 Clown Loaches into my 90 gallon, in it will be;

2xHoplo Cats
1xJellybean Cichlid
1xConvict
2xNetwork Synodontis
3xClown Loach
6xSilver Dollars
1xRTBS
1xTiger Botia
2xBristlenoses
1xFiremouth

I know this is close if not fully stocked but I was thinking that Clowns would probably enjoy more than a group of 3. They are no more then 2" now, poss a bit smaller, as most of the occupants are besides a few. How fast are these going to grow? I know its slow but lets say how long will it take to get to 8"? I think I could house another 2 up to 8" if bought at the same size as everything else but just thought I would ask some people with more experience than me with them. Thx in advance.

I had my clown loaches for over 7 years. I bought them at about 2" or so and were kept in my 55 gallon. I didn't feed as often as I do now, which probably didn't make them grow as fast. About 6 months ago, I moved all my fish into a 125 gallon tank. Prior to the move, the larges was only about 4", with the smallest about 2.5" and the others in varied in between. After the move into my 125 gallon, I feed all my fishes, included the clowns, allot more often now, along with frequent water changes. The largest of the group is about 5", with the rest about 4". This rapid growth happened in less than 6 months. So the fishes growth rate will depend on the quantity and frequency of feedings, along with clean water (water changes).
