How long does it take for a clown loach to grow to full size? Which I've heard is 25cm?

A VERY VERY long time ive seen ann 8 inch clownloach but it was 10 years old...growth is very slow and a large one will fetch a lot of money

IME my clown loaches grew very quickly to 5 inches and now have slowed right down. so i would a long time to get fully grown.

i read there was a 20year old 12inche clown loach a lil whlie ago but i cant remember where

if you go into google and type in

Marge the clown loach

you will see their size after a long time

Liam50 is right they can grow to 5"-6" within a couple of years but then take much longer to double that. I have three of them over 9" and one of them is more than 10 years old.

Mine are all around 6-7" and I have had them for 15+ years. They do grow quite fast to about 5" then slow down to almost no growth a year.
