Clown Loach Fetish?

ok my clown loaches seem to "dig" the rubber glue in my tank and the rubber on the veggie clip.... they click and try to eat it... will they get this off and harm themselves? i don't believe that they have gotten any off yet but i'm scared they will and either 1. ruin the tank or 2. ruin themselves

I dunno if this will harm them or not but i think the taste fo rubber is quite common in the animal kingdom
