As quite a few of you are aware, the new year sees the launch of the FISH WELFARE SOCIETY, a non profit making organization dedicated to educating those new to the hobby in appropriate care and ensuring correct choices are made when setting up.

As part of this, free factsheets will be available to download from the website which will be promoted to LFS's to give out to beginners. Key to this is a common format of factsheet that allows easy comparison between fish and is easily understood by the beginner.

The first draft has now been produced of the Clown Loach factsheet and comments are sought as to its layout, readability, content etc.. How do you feel about the sections? What is your view on the "Care Level" rating on the top right? Do you like the split been Fish Profile on one side of the page and Suitability and Care on the other (factsheets are a single double sided A4 page)?

Please please help for 5 minutes and lets get this right. Help stop the needless deathes of thousand of fish every year due to ignorance.

why state 'typical lifespan' when lifespan will do?
on that note, clowns have a lifespan of 40 years not 20.

maybe you should add that there are two regional variations of the clown loach
the Sumatran and the, so called, Short Bodied [belived to hail from the Sarawak part of island Borneo] (Borneo being the most commonly seen)

just my tuppence worth :good:
