Clown Loach Crop Circles, What Are They?

Hi, I recently got 2 clown loaches with a tank I bought. Both around 5/6", both look healthy, eat and act fine, no signs of anything to be wrong with them. Except one of them has a large black spherical disc on both sides of its body, the pic shows it and it is exactly the same on both sides. I dont think there is anything wrong with it I am just curious now as to what it is. Anyone have any ideas? All I could find on the net was internal parasites, which is lots of tiny black spots.......

It's just natural colouration.

It's more likely to be from a Singapore farmed fish than collected from the wild.
But even the odd wild fish dose show this from time to time.

who has access to permanent markers in your house? (children love colouring things in!)

would be interesting to breed this fish and see if anyother wierd markings show.

yea too bad it's probably impossible to breed clown loaches...
