clown loach colouration

I know that clown loaches can change colour whilst establishing dominance etc. But a couple of mine have started to develop black spots on them. Is this anything to worry about, or just a normal process??

Are they very faint, quite large spots? One of mine had a few a couple of weeks but they were barely noticeable, they just looked like part of its skin colouration so I wasn't too worried. They've gone now so I would say it's nothing to worry about if your loaches' spots are the same as mine were
