I got a little clown today that my beautiful gf suprised me with!!! (shes so awsome)
I have a Torch Coral, will my clown go in that?? he just keeps swimming up and down and across the class. Will he find this coral?

Clowns are fickle.. you could have the best looking anenome in your tank and they still ignore it.
All i can suggest is that you continue to provide possible hosts and "maybe" it will decide one looks attractive enough to host.

Personally I feel clowns do better in pairs as they feel and act more secure this way.

Thanks man.
I am hoping to get another clown this week sometime.
Does it matter if they are different types?

P.S. My other coral is an "alagent" if they how it is spelt...

Elegant....

And yes it does matter
DO NOT mix clown species or one/both will end up dead. Most peple dont find success even in larger tanks well over 6ft

Okay thanks again!
Luckily i asked, i was gonna get another type.

I will keep you updated to tell you if he has found my coral.

what type of clown ido you have already? Remember that anything other than Perculas or Ocellaris will grow very large and bot be suitable for a nano.

Yeah they should not be a problem as they dont grow as large as other clowns.
